I've listened to it three times, and I must say that I didn't understand any word. :oops:
In the beginning of the audio you pronounce the ы three times, right? It sounds more or less okay (although a bit too close to и). I can't make out the next word, but to my ears it begins with "кы....". This "кы" is perfect.
Hm...I've heard the following words:
крыша
крыса
быстро
сыро
???
мосты
кресты
....
Right? I hope my ears didn't deceive me. If it's so, then Ы in a word сыро was closed to the right pronunciation, but the other words sounded nearly like И in your execution

Barely audible. From what I could recognise ( крыша , мосты ) - Ы seems to be too retracted backward ( [ɯ] instead of [ɨ] )Quote:
