I like Moby too, but I can see what you mean. Are you referring to any song in particular?
Probably he is is like me and can't understand the title of the songs also. Good music though!
One time at deck the hall ball 2000 Moby was there and i was there and moby told the crowd to do exstacy or however u spell it. I was like... good advice freak.
For example, Natural Blues. I understand only the phrase "trouble so hard", but I wouldn't understand it, if I didn't see it in cartoon version of the clip. OK, I can find lyrics and read it... But I don't want...
Yeah, lyrics for "Flower", anyone, eh? :? What langauage is that?
Wow, one of my favorite songs! :)Quote:

Green sally up
And green sally down
Lift and squat
Gotta tear the ground(Repeat 8X)
Ol' Miss Lucy's dead and gone
Left me hear to weep and moan
Green sally up
And green sally down
Lift and squat
Gotta tear the ground. (Repeat 5X)
Ol' Miss Lucy's dead and gone
Left me hear to weep and moan

Lift and squat
Gotta tear the ground. (Repeat 5X)
Ol' Miss Lucy's dead and gone
Left me hear to weep and moan
Green sally up
And green sally down
Lift and squat
Gotta tear the ground. (Repeat 12X)
Ol' Miss Lucy's dead and gone
Left me hear to weep and moan
I think, his voice is just a part of music, nothing more. :) If nobody can understand your lyrics, nobody will say that it's stupid. Russian pop-stars should follow his example
Hm, a nice try, fantom, thank you. However, speaking about some phraseology -- I'm still in the dark as ever.
You're not kidding, I have no freakin' idea what this song means! :D
I guess we all just have to enjoy his beats and rhythms and not think there is some deep psychological meaning behind the lyrics...! :P

Did Moby write those lyrics? Sounds like early American Blues lyrics.
He based a lot of the Play ablumn on pre-written American Blues songs and adapted them with his style as a musician.Quote:

Anything he wrote before 1995 wasn't really meant to be 'understood' they were mostly rave tracks.
I understand Moby.
Understanding any given song or group is hit or miss for most people.
This has nothing to do with Russian. Maybe you should try chat instead (top right corner).
