    Cheburashka

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYghVUmu ... heburashka

Well in this video the man who found Cheburashka and he hanging up a note with text like "zakryto o schel v zoopark"

Speaking about in/on like on the table=v stolje, you always end a -JE when you responding where a thing/person is.

Why they didn't wrote it here or does it matter?

PS: I'm very sorry that i can't use russian alfabet, please send a PM if you can help me about that.

That is because here it is in the accusative case and means "to" the zoopark, not "at" the zoopark (prepositional case). It is a verb of motion.

Someone else will elaborate, I'm not capable.

    Закрыто. Ушел в зоопарк.
Ушел (куда?) в зоопарк. The word "зоопарк" is in accusative case (винительный падеж).
The words in accusative case usually end on у(ю) or don`t have the endings.
    For instance:

I often go to the theatre! Я часто хожу (куда?) в театр.
I hardly ever visited Moscow Я очень редко посещаю Москву.

The nouns in dative case end on e.
You can say Я в зоопарке I`m at the Zoo. It`s a dative case, but Я ушел в зоопарк is accusative case.
Please correct my mistakes in English

Я в зоопарке is prepositional case. Зоопарку is dative

you can't because you don't know the alphabet, or you just don't have access to it? if you don't have a russian keybord, just use it online here: http://www.translit.ru. i do.
