    Нет!

I must admit I am an anarchist. What exactly is your objection to it (which I presume from your condescending comment :P ).

It's retarded, that's my point. It has no functional value; it's a hippie pipe-dream and nothing more. In order to abide by anarchism, you have to be able to throw away the entire history of mankind and every even slightly rational political theorist -- something that is quite frankly impossible. Even Marx and Lenin, for all the crap they were full of, recongnized the necessity of SOME sort of government. Thus, in my book, anarchy is the lowest possible form of political thought.

Also, on an unrelated note -- and no condescension here -- your signature looks strange. You will NEVER encounter stress marks in actual Russian, to say nothing of the fact that it lacks uniformity -- люблю doesn't get any accent lovin' but the other words do (an incidentally, that stress is on the first ю).

If you don't respond in a polite, courteous manner, addressing it seriously, then you can't expect others to take your opinion seriously.

Functional value? By it's very nature anarchism is based on pragmatism, at grass roots level, rather than forcing everyone into one entire massive ideology (e.g. capitalism or communism). Anarchism was born out of rationalism and the enlightenment - questioning authority etc.

There was nothing impolite about my treatment of the topic. If you read that into it, then you've got your own hang-ups.

There's a difference between questioning authority and advocating its complete and utter removal. And it may have been born out of rationalism and enlightenment, but like most anything, it's simply a radicalized byproduct of a normal, acceptable thing. I like capitalism. It doesn't mean I think we should traffic in human beings. You shouldn't be able to go to your local grocery store and pick up a baby or six. I like chocolate. It doesn't mean I think we should eat nothing but chocolate. I think we should question authority and hold the authorities responsible -- it doesn't mean I think we should all run amok in a "society" (if you could even call it that) where every thing is left to chance and whims.
