Quote Originally Posted by Рамзан Кадыров

This guy is complete retard and hypocrite. While supproting his 'kunaks' who are shoting girls without hejab with paintball in the central square of Grozny he acts like this (he is married btw):

But the sad thing is that anyone else as a head of Chechnya would probably even worse choice.
Please, correct my mistakes, except for the cases I misspell something on purpose!

Here's a translation for those who don't speak Russian:

Yesterday, the head of Chechen republic gave a fascinating interview.

    Here's some selected quotes:

Quote Originally Posted by Ramzan Kadyrov
My icon (Vladimir) Putin. I'd like him to be the president for life. I love him very much as a man can love another man. He's a man of his word -- he brought peace to Chechnya. We were in the hands of bandits and that drunkard Yeltsin bombed us. Those who criticize Putin are non-human, my blood enemies. As long as Putin supports me I can do everything. Allah akbar!

    ...

Independence brought us nothing but woes. I don't want the independence of Chechnya from Russia. The only thing I ask about is that I'd be given free hands for struggling the bandits. They're enemies of people and Islam. I want to fight them and end the war.

    ...

We [in Chechnya] have the lowest crime level through Russia because of our faith. A righteous Muslim thinks, before all, of tomorrow. He can steal a car, but he knows that he would have to answer for that in heaven.

    ...

What did I fight for, whom did I fight for? I fought for Russia. For their safety. And they blame me for murder of women, girls -- this is wrong, thus I brought this matter to the court and intend to continue.

    ...

They won't calm down. I think like this -- I think I am a military strategist -- I think that Russia, as a state, is ought to develop a strategy -- we should attack. If (another) state attacks, we shouldn't defend, we should attack it to pacify it. Only then America would calm down.

    ...

WHY SHOULD I KILL IN AUSTRIA?
Pretty, don't you think? These words are said by the federal official of Russian Federation. I wonder what would Kremlin say about this. Turn this all into a joke?

This is a wikipedia link so you can get to know this man:

Not sure I understand the last quote. So he wants Russia to attack America?

Ok - so why then are foreigners banned from Chechnya?
I read this on a travel site and assumed it was for security reasons.

And about Kadirov's interview: If the English translation is right then his rhetoric is totally exaggerated. Nobody will take him seriously if he speaks like that.. (or maybe people in Chechnya do.... ?) Everybody just get put of by exaggerated speech like that. He could easily get his point across without sounding so hysterical. (That said, it's a little bit hard to determine exactly what it is he's trying to say, other than that he loves Putin and Islam.... )

Oops - just checked the video! What a hypocritical slimeball! So much for his commitment to Islam! Feel sorry for his wife.

Has this provoked an official reaction from the Kremlin yet? Or from whoever in charge of reactions? I'd love to see what comrade Putin has to say about this garbage...

I wonder what would happen if they got friendly with Iran, the Talibans or Saudi Arabia. In that case I probably would not want to be in the same country as them. But at present time, Kadirov is keeping order in Chechnya isn't he - isn't that a good thing?
Personally I think it's wrong to do military exercises with kids, and shoot paintballs at women not wearing a scarf.
Can everybody there speak Russian, or do they use almost only their own language? Has anyone been there?

Taliban and Saudy Arabia are Iranian enemies. I think Russia should develop good relationships with Iran.

I think both facts are true: most of them can speak Russian and they usually use their language.

Of course, because Saudis are closer to the US than to Russia and the Taliban as a political force is not influential anymore.
