Do you think that the USSR was good for Russia or bad??
How on Earth is one supposed to answer this yes or no? It's a huge question!
It was terrible. :x
Absolutely. bad manners, if you're reading this, here's a wonderful illustration of how they mould public opinion, this is how some have gathered their data on Stalin, I suspect.Quote:

sionist monsters made ussr. Killed the tsars family. Its insane to celebrate, something so destructive to russian culture as the ussr.
Ага. И жид Сталин продолжил их дело :DQuote:

True, the most dramatic and strongest period of economic growth in the history of industrialized civilization occured in Russia during Stalin's time.
Also true, during the same time period millions were executed in the Soviet Union.
WWII is a big question. Had it not been for the aforementioned, would Russia have been able to stop Hitler's operation Barbarossa? This has big implications for the entire planet, not just Russia. Had it not been for the economic and industrial improvements to the Russian economy due to totalitarian rule, Russia might have capitulated under the superior technology of the Wermacht.
This question has no right answer. It is hard to say whether or not MORE would have been killed with or without the Soviet Union... etc. et al.
Oh, I *like* such kind of questions.
Approx 2 mln. years ago some ape in Africa climbed down the tree, and discovered, what while walking on lower pair of limbs, (s)he can use the upper pair of limbs to perform some useful work. What do you think: was this event good or bad? :)
