Thread: Russian/Georgia War

Hi,

I didnt know where else to ask. I have a good friend here in the U.S. who is upset about what is going on obviously!!! Can anyone give me any websites or links to news that is actual facts and not just opinions that I can give to him? The newspapers and television here arent giving any kind of real information about whats going on.

so far the only thing I could find was http://kommersant.ru/ a russian newspaper. But, Im sure there must be other newspapers online or something.

I don't think you'd find anything worth reading. It's either lies or propaganda of either side. I think that the Russian military cencors have already taken control over the most information sources so I doubt you'll find actual facts.
Try the Azerbaijani or Turkish news sites, maybe you'll find anything there.

Try wikipedia. I've read an introduction (a short part before the table of contents) and it seems to be unbiased.
