    Prisons

    hello
    I wonder if anyone can help me out here: does anyone know what ministry is in charge of prisons? Is it the ministry of justice?

    I imagine it's the Ministry of Internal Affairs, though I haven't kept up with any recent bureaucratic reshuffling.

    AFAIK it's the ministry of justice - http://www.guin-uis.ru , not the ministry of internal affairs.
