It is a word which is used to insult a woman, whatever for. It is most often applied to a wife who is constantly nagging her husband.

Of course not. I was just thinking about in what circumstances a woman is likely to "стать стервой", if she isn't by nature. The first thing that springs to mind - marriage. :wink:

Мало ли что. Я же про живое употребление слова. Сейчас слово "стерва" с трупоедом имеет мало общего. Больше с мозго@бом :)
