Yes, счас is mangled сейчас, which is often used in phrases with meaning 'be in a hurry':

- Иван, тебе пора выходить, а то опоздаешь на автобус!
- Сейчас, уже иду!

- Милый, ты должен купить мне новую машину! Старая мне надоела!
- Ага, сейчас, разбежался!
(ironic, he says that he will buy a car in a moment, but in fact is not going to buy it at all)
