    стоп-акций

I'm doing an exercise about strikes in Russia during last years. After speaking here and there on завастовки it is said:
    Кроме того, в стране увеличилось число стоп-акций - с пяти в первом квартале 2008 года до 23-х в начале 2012 года.
But what is стоп-акций I don't find anywhere. Perhaps it is lock-out? I don't find it in dictionaries. Thanks.

If you mean stop-actions like "Стопхам" or "Стоп-сигарета" it's not exactly a strike but an organised action against a particular social problem.
For example, in order to decrease the chaos caused by inappropriate car parkings, the "Стоп-хам" initiative was formed. The point of it was to mark inappropriately parked cars with bright signs indicating that the car's owner is a "Хам" (an unpolite person, to say the least).
