    приемлю и что

    Two questions:
    1) приемлю with the meaning of "I consume" (drugs, for example). However I find приём with the meaning of "taking a dosis" for example of a medicine, I can't find the verbs from which it derives. The verbs приедать - приесть have not that form, at least in the books I have visited, nor in the dictionaries on line. From which verb does it derive?

    2) что can be an interrogative pronoun or a relative one. In the phrase
"Какие люди вам больше нравится, с кем бы вы препочли дружить - с теми у кого похожие или противоположные черты характера? " the question is if что works as an relative: "Which people do you like to become with them a friend , with ... or with ..." or it is an interrogative, and then would be two questions: "Which people do you like? With whom do you prefer become a friend, with ... or ...". Obviously in the meaning of relative the antecedent would be "люди". According to the fact that the mark of question goes only once at the end of the phrase it seems more suitable the "relative-solution". Isn't it ?

In that context "принимать" is used: я принимаю лекарство, я принимаю наркотики, etc.
    So приём - принимать.

We never use the form "приемлю" in the meaning of "I consume". In that case we use the main form "принимать". So then we say not "он приемлет наркотики" but "он принимает наркотики". The form "приемлет" means exclusively "to accept (approve) something". For example, the sentence "Этот политик приемлет наркотики" means "This politician approves drugs" but "Этот политик принимает наркотики" means "This politician consumes drugs"

The word "приесть (приедать)" does not exist in Russian at all. There is a verb "приесться (приедаться)" that mean "to become boring".

    Tks

My translation of приемлю was only a conjecture, since I didn't find it.
According to what you say I see now приемлемость as acceptability, admision. Not the verb, but it is enough, thanks.

    Quite right!

The form "приемлю" is derivation from "принимать" but, as I've mentioned, its usage differs from the regular form.

    conjugation:

    inf. принимать
    я принимаю (приемлю)
    ты принимаешь (приемлешь)
    он/она/оно принимает (приемлет)
    мы принимаем (приемлем)
    вы принимаете (приемлете)
    они принимают (приемлют)

Я приемлю means I tolerate (at least) or I approve (at most).

Where is что here? There are actually two questions in your example, so the latter translation is more correct.

Какие люди вам больше нравится, с кем бы вы препочли дружить
Which people do you like to become with them a friend - this one expresses the same idea, so it is not totally incorrect. Perhaps you are confused by the double meaning of the word "like".

Which people do you like? With whom do you prefer become a friend - correct

Какие люди вам больше нравятся, с кем бы вы предпочли дружить - с теми, у кого похожие или противоположные черты характера?

Actually, the sentence "Какие люди вам больше нравятся, с кем бы вы предпочли дружить - с теми, у кого похожие или противоположные черты характера?" is somewhat incoherent (the bold part). Vladi, did you make it up yourself?

    Here's my version.

Какие люди вам больше нравятся, с кем бы вы предпочли дружить - с теми, у кого черты характера схожи с вашими, или с теми, у кого они противоположны вашим?

    Abt кто

Apart from my errors marked by Indra, the phrase appears so as it is in
    http://members.tripod.com/~russian_text ... iends.html
and without the comma. It is phrase number 4 after the 2nd. table. Yes, as you say it seems lacking a comma where you put it, but...

    8. У вас есть кумир среди знаменитых людей (актёров, певцов, учёных, политиков, бизнесменов и т.п.)? Если бы вы могли подружиться с какой-нибудь знаменитостью, кто бы это мог быть?
Just some little mistakes made by native Russian speakers in Russian. Vadim was right when said that the whole sentence is not quite correct.

That text obviously wasn't written by a professor of Russian. There are some other mistakes in it. For example, a missing dash:
Он - мужчина средних лет. Она - женщина средних лет.
    он - брюнет, блондин, шатен
    она - брюнетка, блондинка, шатенка
