    It is a word which is used to insult a woman, whatever for. It is most often applied to a wife who is constantly nagging her husband.

    Of course not. I was just thinking about in what circumstances a woman is likely to "стать стервой", if she isn't by nature. The first thing that springs to mind - marriage.

    Это может быть вовсе и не так! bitch -- сука, а это другое дело. Всё зависит от контекста.

    Это может быть вовсе и не так! bitch -- сука, а это другое дело. Всё зависит от контекста.
    in english, bitch can have that shade of meaning. a bit like мымра i guess
