пойдём на вечеринку в международное общежитие/ международном общежитии ?

поидём на вечеринку в международное общежитие
поидём на вечеринку в международном общежитии

The first version of the sentence is all in the accusative; I would have chosen to put '...dormitory' in the prepositional case, as it refers to the location of the party to which we go (motion towards)...
Which is correct? Or are both acceptable?

    Both are correct.
Second is "go to party which takes place in dormitory".
First is like "go to party, to the dormitory". Both "на вечеринку" and "в общежитие" are related to verb "go".

Thanks Alex, that's the way I was looking at it too. And thanks Lampada; the full sentence started with мы... I left that bit off cos it's quicker to type! мне лень..
