genitive singular is пирожного
Here is a site to check all cases of any word. Normally it works OK but looks like it failed to give singular cases for "пирожное".
"Россия для русских" - это неправильно. Остальные-то чем лучше?
Thanks alot, but while I was waiting someone showed me this link --> Russian Genitive Case - Russian Language Lesson 10 - Main Lesson - Russian Language Lessons
and there it says that:
Neuter Nouns:
1. Replace “о” with “а”
2. Replace “е” with “я”
so now I'm confused on which one to go with because they don't look the same?
Rule 1: in Russian each rule has a great number of exceptions.
"пирожное" is an adjectival noun, that is an adjective interpreted as noun. Such nouns are declined according to rules for adjectives.
See here, variant 2 (adjective), "Neuter" column. Or here, "Normal Adjectives - Hard" paragraph, "Neuter" column.
