Seems like it's a "broad" word that includes many different things.
LIVE show / Live Performance. (This is a very good expression to know!!!)
In THIS context, Live is pronounced "лайв" not "лив" (typical English!)
It is used for when a band or an artist performs and they are actually playing... For example if you are at a concert or in a pub / bar where a band is playing.
The opposite to Live is playback, recording or lip-synching...
