This sentence sounds complete nonsence to me. "Мы" is a collective pronoun and how it can be applied to свекровь (wich means a husband's mother) I dunno. May be this phrase can be said by a harem though.

Actually I got this sentence from Schuamm's Outline series on Russian Grammar but was not sure of the meaning as the sentence appears ambiguous to me.

Or two women married to brothers, and therefore sharing the same mother in law.
