I just saw on a Russian dunkin donuts site this phraze on an advert for some offer, or coffee, doesn't really matter.
Любовь это
Then underneath it said in english "Love is..."
Now I'm not trying to map one language onto the other, just wanted a breakdown or LITERAL translation of what Любовь это means... as I can't see a way it means anything that then could be interpreted as Love is... I am aware the verb to be быть is not used to express something is something, but this seems to translate to... "love, then it" doesn't seem like a beginning of a sentence to me, anyone got an explanation?
