I saw an sticker that said "денежные переводы". Now I know денежные means monetary, but does переводы mean transfer or conversion? I'm not sure if in this place you send money overseas, or convert your money to another currency?

In that context, "переводы" means transfers. It is definitely doesn't mean currency exchange :).
