Sometimes глюки like green aliens, imps can be caused by long-term substance abuse etc and you can call them ‘real’, so to speak; whereas in other contexts глюки are just words, metaphorically expressing your emotional attitudes toward somebody’s ‘loony’ ideas, ‘out of the way’ statements and other deviations from your expectations. Interpretation depends on the context.
