    what's the difference between spriatat' and skryvat'

    everything is in the title. so if someone can help me figure this out...thanks in advance

    between spriatat' and skyvat'
    I don't know the verb skyvat', maybe skryvat' (скрывать/скрыть)?

    прятать/спрятать = to hide smth from smb
    скрывать/скрыть = to conceal, to harbour

    прятать money in the pocket; a present from a kid; a pupil's mark book under the carpet
    скрывать fact or name (not: прятать факт, прятать имя!)
    In Russian, all nationalities and their corresponding languages start with a lower-case letter.
