    "думать" is more wider in usage. You have something in mind which can be: to think, to suppose, to belive, to consider, to guess and similar things.
    "мыслить" is "to have brain activity" often analitical one. It is "work of mind". It is used less than "думать". "Я мыслю, следовательно я существую".

    "Думать" is "to think" for everyday usage. "Мыслить" is something like verb for science, philosophy and so on.

    Ok so.. if you wanted to say, "I think in Russian" as in, my thoughts are in Russian, etc.. Which would you use?
