    spent

how do you spent in russian (present passive participle)?

    is it trataemiy or tratimiy?

i've heard in order to form it, you have to use the present, first person plural and add -yi-, hence tratimiy, right?

    but i've seen trataemiy: http://www.verba.org/owa-verb/verba_dba ... ery_verba=тратить

    which is the right one?

Потраченный (perfect) and растрачиваемый (imperfect) should be most useful, I think.

There also exists траченный, but it seems to be obsolete and means shabby or something like that

hmm, so, how would you say:

    the money spent now.

    is "tratimiy dengi" wrong?

the money is spent? "Тратимые деньги" - it's very rare form, sounds pretty unnatural. You can say "Деньги, которые тратятся сейчас": reflexive verb is considered as passive here.

I have checked out this translating site you're using - it's so bad, it's ugly wrong, never use it again.

but does the phrase money spent now imply that some of it is still getting spent or does it mean all of it has been spent now? if it's the latter then what you nead in Russian is деньги потраченные/истраченные/растраченные сейчас

note money is almost always plural in russian, plus to get a participle II you need a perfective form. растраченные has a negative connotation, meaning more money gfot spent than was supposed to or that it got spent on something other than it was meant for(close to wasted), in other words it means it was stolen.
