    I will aim to

    Sometimes in English I say "I will aim to..." for example: "I will aim to arrive at your office at 12.00". This is a definite commitment. But at the same time I am giving myself cover in case the unexpected happens (e.g. the train is late).

    What could I say in Russian?

    плани́ровать (more formal) «Я плани́рую прие́хать к вам в о́фис в 12:00».
    собира́ться (less formal) «Я собира́юсь прие́хать к вам в о́фис в 12:00».
