Thread: A quick question: да и я сам

Hi everyone!

I would like to know if "and moreover" is a good translation for да и я сам in the next sentence. I also have problemы with the words in bold, is it "what he might"??

"да и я сам ничего не узнаю о нём: чего он хочет, что может, зачем живёт..."

moreover could be translated as более того, помимо того
but да я и сам in this context means But I myself

да и я сам ничего не узнаю о нём: чего он хочет, что может, зачем живёт

Though I myself wont know anything (more) about him: what does he want, what he might, what for does he live.
