Perfectives and determinate imperfectives in imperatives
I think I have most of the concepts behind Russian choice of imperative down, but I'm having trouble finding information about the difference between perfectives and determinate imperfectives. E.g., what is the difference between:
And would it even be possible to ever say:
Thanks!

There isn't difference.

(Go to the airport now!)/Пойди в аэропорт!(Do it sometime later).
Не иди в аэропорт!(Stop going to the airport!)
(Never do it).

Hmm... so along the same lines, Хочу идти в аэропорт means I want to go NOW, while пойти just means I'd like to make it over there at some point? Would пойти imply that I'm never coming back?

In this case хочу идти means I want to be doing this action, and хочу пойти means I want to do this act. (I'm not shure you can uderstand my English translations, it seems to me they are not quite right :( ).

Not at all.
