Learn Albanian, Yankee Fool!
OK, that was a totally random subject, so let me get to the point.
There's a popular Russian song right now, Сердце магнит that repeats over and over the phrase "мое сердце болит". What's up with this? The book form we've always been taught is "у меня болит ____". Is сердце болит just slang or is it just a straight synonym or does it have a different nuance? Or is it just taking artistic liberties to have an insipid, but catchy sounding pop song?

In the song, it means "My heart is aching." Means, I feel bad. Case closed.
Not so fast. It's in figurative meaning. It doesn't mean that she needs a doctor but she suffers from parting with her darling. (or whatever).
I mean in the song.

Russians invented eye surgerey, AK47s, and detonated the worlds most powerfull atomic bomb, Yeild, 100,000 megatons. It was retarded to 50,000 megatons (still 4,000 times more powerfull than anything ever used by the US) with a huge uranuim outer core.
The shockwave circled the earth 3 times and destroyed homes in finnland. How cool is that?
If you ask me Russians are pretty smart, so SHhhh your little ротик!
