    Jog a motor

    Anyone have a suggestion for the verb "to jog", as in "to jog a motor" (switch it on and off rapidly)?

    I never have heard the term "to jog" except to mean "to run for excercise".

    I have heard to "jog someones memory", but to jog a motor... I can't deny I have heard it...
