    imperative which expresses condition

    Are the following correct?

    Читай он эту книгу — и он решит заданные вопросы.
    Проитай он эту книгу — и он решит заданные вопросы.

    I would say it this way:

    Прочитай он эту книгу, он бы решил заданные задачи.
    Прочитай он эту книгу, он бы ответил на заданные вопросы.

    Note 1. I used perfective, because one action precedes another.
    Note 2. We say "решить задачу" and "ответить на вопрос". "Решить вопрос" can be used if related to some organization question, not to a scientific problem.

    "Читай он эту книгу" can imply that the book is some sort of an encyclopedia you refer to; "прочитай он эту книгу" is a book that is to be read from cover to cover, to resolve your issues. Imperfective/perfective, you know what i mean.
