    To have(Tener)

    OK i know that the majority of people here will have probably heard this post before but, is the construction U menja (est) etc, almost the same as tener in spanish or To have in english? I already know it is not when it

    Languages have their own expressions and syntaxes and of course they are different from one country to another. It's simply better to translate the idea of the sentences instead of trying to make a word to word translation which most of the time makes no sense.

    I think you could omit будет since you know it will happen tomorrow using завтра.

    I have a feeling you can't say У меня (есть) биология.

    Saying "Have" is always a dangerous area.

    Since you know Spanish you already know the used differs between langauges:

    e.g. I have a car
    Tengo coche

    I have played football
    He jugado f
    Ingenting kan stoppa mig
