    Example sentences

Is there a resource available on the internet containing lots of example sentences for all tenses, cases, aspects and anything else that you need to speak Russian correctly? I reckon having lots of example sentences would benefit me (and anyone else for that matter) greatly. I have the Big Silver Book of Russian Verbs (555 fully conjugated verbs) and each verb has about 5 (usually more) example sentences at the bottom of the page, including little sayings/idioms - they're incredibly helpful.

Yeah, I tried that but didn't immediately find anything, so I figured I'd try and find out if anyone on here knew of any resource before delving deeper.

Well, your request looks too general. As general as runet (Russian part of internet) is.
"Россия для русских" - это неправильно. Остальные-то чем лучше?

Actually, what I meant is that you should just type the words you are interested in (in Russian) into Google to find example sentences. It's one of the best learning resources there is. Or if you want to know if it is possible to say something a certain way, you can type it into Google to see if there are any examples.

Pippynip, you might find something useful here: rutracker.org (but you may need to register)
    Thanks for correcting me.

I meant something like this - The Accusative Case - Russian Grammar

There, it says the accusative case is used in sentences like "I want a dog", and it shows you all the noun endings, but it doesn't actually give you any examples of the sentence being used in Russian. Like "Я хочу собаку" (probably? is that right?). It gives them in the lessons, but you have to root around for them; I was wondering if anyone knew of a page like the one above but with example sentences included (like a simplified version of Russian Genitive Case - Russian Language Lesson 10).

Anyway, clearly not, so I'll go with John_Douglas' suggestion - that's pretty much what I've been doing up 'til now anyway

    Лучше "Я хочу завести/купить собаку".
