Thread: Dog Breeds in Russian

Hi,

I am trying to figure out how to say certain kinds of dog breeds in Russian. I did a search and found only Russian breeds of dogs.

The particular dog breeds I am looking for are:

German Shepherd
Labrador Retriever
Golden Retriever
Beagle
Jack Russell Terrier

German Shepherd - Немецкая овчарка
Labrador Retriever - Лабрадор
Golden Retriever - Золотистый ретривер
Beagle - Бигль
Jack Russell Terrier - (какой-то?) терьер (the last one is just my guessing)

The trick is to find an article in wikipedia and then click "Русский" in Languages panel. Voila:

Jack Russell Terrier - Джек-Рассел терьер
