    "dibs" in russian

Hello everybody, this is my 1st post here, but I've read the forums for a long time. I want to say thanks to everybody that contributes here! Now my 1st question is...

How do you say "dibs" in russian?

    dibs (pl.n. Slang)
    1. A claim; rights: I have dibs on that last piece of pie.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dibs

I can only find translations from babylon, but "dibs" is slang, so maybe it's not right

    Dibs is just право.

I have dibs on that last piece of pie. - Я имею право на последний кусок пирога.
    -- Да? Коту Ваське, бл##?
    -- Нет, Я кот Васька :-/

Translation would depend on the contexts, but if you mean a situation when whoever says "dibs" first gets it, then "чур" is probably the closest equivalent: "Чур последний кусок мой". The word, however, is considered childish by most adults.

    I thought about "чур" too.

"Я имею право на последний кусок пирога" sounds like a statement in U.N.O.
In Russian, all nationalities and their corresponding languages start with a lower-case letter.

"dibs" is also kidspeak. Adults say it only jokingly.

Well I wouldn't go all the way to kids, I know people in their twenties say "dibs" alot too. But then again, maybe you judge anything below 38 kids?

    “Lingvo” defines:

I have dibs on that piece of cake! — Фиг я кому уступлю этот кусок (торта)!

    It could be creative.
