according to my book it is possible to write нужен without БУДЕТ::
In my opinion, though, it should be written with future form of нужен ...because it is a condition that refers to something that could happen in future
It's ok. With будет, it means future needs; without it, it means present needs.
If we are talking about style, not grammar, you better say: "Если вы хотите что-то купить в нашем городе, вам понадобится автомобиль. Также вам будут нужны русские деньги". Sounds smoother. Always put "to be" before the verb. "Будет нужен"="понадобится", good way to improve a style is to replace one with another.Quote:
