Кому - нары, кому - Канары.
Можно ходить по пабам, музеям, памятным местам, а можно по бабам (to girls for promiscuity)
В данном контексте слово «бабы» употребляется в значении «девушки, женщины». Данное выражение можно переформулировать так:
- Ну что, сходили на встречу с девушками?
Слова «баба», «бабёнка» и т.д., в основном, имеют широкое распространение в сельской местности.
I can be not right, I can make mistakes but it is my opinion and my mistakes. If I said so, it is mean I think so and i will be not saying if I do not think so. Better I will be saying my mistakes, than to repeat the mistakes others.
Спасибо всем!
Кому - нары, кому - Канары.
This phrase seems kind of odd to me.
сходили being the perfective form suggests a single trip
по бабам suggests going to multiple girls
So does it mean they went to a single place and met multiple girls?
Can you say something like мы сходили по музеям? I don't think so (but maybe I'm wrong).

This is a humorous usage of an expression "ходить по бабам" exactly because of the perfective form!
That could mean that the "trip to women and drinks" had stopped abruptly and with an unexpected and bad result.
Compare with: "Ну что, доигрался?"
Or... Look at the question, it is addressed to MORE THAN ONE man: "ну что, сходилИ по бабам?"
So another possible alternative interpretation could be " did you, GUYS, go to see girls?"
i agree with Inego that another possible interpretation would be "so did you have a great time with women?"
It may be an ironical question. The context rules the interpretation.
Russian employs a lot of colloquialisms with the verb "ходить", е.g.
-- ходить по барам - be a regular customer at bars, hit the bars;
-- ходить по бабам - to spend a merry time in the company of women, be a womanizer,
-- ходить налево - to have an extramarital affair,
-- etc.
John, not necessarily. It strict sense yes, but it may be used emphatically to mean just one girl.... And BTW.. there's an expression ходить/сходить по мужикам.. also it should be said that these exressions are a bit low style, i mean, it's used either as a joke or by someone who apparently couldn't find a more elegant way of saying it, which there are a lot.
