Thread: согласен? согласный ?

Is there any difference of sense? Is one of these a gramatically more correct form of answering?

я согласен.
я - согласный.

First one is much more accurate considering grammar and style.

Isn't the second one gramatically incorrect? Like the - shouldn't be there should it?

Something that might help: think of adding "one" to the long-form adjectives:

она красива. She's pretty.
она красивая. She's a pretty one. (among others)

The short forms are more absolute statements, the long forms seem to be relative.

"согласный" may be used just for sound characteristic: "гласный-согласный" - that's it
