Thread: приобретать на неё

I'm translating an article about the "price" of money and find after приобретать, на неё, however nor in dictionaries nor in my book on prepositional regime of verbs приобретать is followed by на. The phrase is:
"An amounf of money "costs" so much as the amount of products на неё можно приобретать". It's clear that it means: "the amount of products one can get for it". Since it is in accusative I think if it means here: the amount of products one can get in it (into the amount of money). It looks rather strange. Thank you.

Это очень распространённое употребление глаголов "приобретать" и "покупать". Приобрести что-то на какую-то сумму денег значит to get something for this amount of money. То же с "купить": На сто рублей в Москве можно купить четыре килограмма картошки.
