    потрясающий vs. потрясающе

    потрясающий - tremendous, staggering, stupendous
    потрясающе - appallingly

    How does this work? I assume потрясающий denotes something positive while потрясающе refers to something negative.

    потрясающе is an adverb formed from the adjective потрясающий.

    потрясающе doesn't have only a negative connotation. It can be translated as stunningly or overwhelmingly

    It means that this dictionary sucks. figuratively.

    2) перен. ... stun, amaze, astound
    and form adjectives and adverbs on your choice.
