В чем разница между острый и пряный?

Острый means literally SHARP
You can say oстрый as well about sharp knife, sharp tongue, and chilly pepper or spearmint. Острый ум and острое слово - clever mind, refined mind, sharp word.
And пряный means nothing but spicy - spicy air, spicy aroma, spicy food and so on.

chilly - острый, paprika - пряный.

"ostryj" necessarily means "hot", "prjanyj" just implies that there are a lot of spices in there (not necessarily hot, it could be cinnamon for example).

Ok then what is the difference between острый and резкий?

острый нож sharp knife
резко - sharply
But knife never can be резкий нож!
резкий звук - acute sound резкий=громкий
резкий голос - shrill voice - резкий=неприятный, грубый
резкое изображение - резкий=чёткий
резкое движение - fast motion - резкий=быстрый
острое движение - чёткое движение - sharp - accurate (in theatre, dance, ballet, sport - anywhere where your motion is professional)
резкий ветер - cutting wind - резкий=быстрый
резкий свет - glaring light - резкий=яркий, слепящий
резкий запах - острый запах - pungent smell - резкий=неприятный
резкие черты - sharp features (of face) - резкий=грубый, некрасивый
резкое слово - harsh word - резкий=неприятный, грубый
острое слово - sharp word - острый=колкий, насмешка, издёвка

Some words can not be резкий but only острый and backway.
