    Ну пришли хотя бы смайлик

    What is the most literally English translation for the phraze Ну пришли хотя бы смайлик!? Seen it used in some chats and can't understand it.

    It means "could you at least send the smiley?" or "Well, send the smiley at least, would you?"
    It is more of a joke it doesn't have neither negative nor pushy nuances

    Could you explain this in more detail? The part I don't understand is why пришли is used, when смайлик is a singlular noun. Is пришли the past tense of прислать or прийти? Or are they the same? Also exactly in what context is it used?

    It's imperative (a grammatical mood expressing direct requests) from "присылать" (to send) in singualr, since there's only one person who is given a request (you). If there are a few people or a polite form is used it turns into plural - "пришлите".
