You should understand that contemporary Russian song lyrics (cheesy as well as top-quality) often don't follow language logic, syntax and grammar and even regular common sense. It is often like stream of consciousness.
I think that's absolutely wonderful about the Russian language.. I'm very drawn to the way it accentuates imagery and metaphor.. <--dork
