    Между question

    I knew this before but I can't quite remember.

    After Между when expressing "motion to in between", is it the geninitve case you use?

    I'm sure I've seen it with the genitive. Can you use the genitive with Между?

    Проехать между (меж) деревьев.

    But imho you can only use it with plural.

    Упасть меж стульев.

    Maybe you confused it with среди? Cause that takes the genetive and means "in the middle of". But I don't think that works with motion... Я упал среди стола и стула?

    Only when the objects are equable, like in the examples Alyer gave.
