Could you pls provide the context?

It's something like "конвертировать большую ссылку в маленькую", but I have no freaking idea whether links can be somehow converted. Maybe I'm mistaken.

I guess it's anyway "конвертировать большую ссылку в маленькую" or just "сократить ссылку".

Usually "convert large to small"= "свернуть". But the context is needed anyway.

As far as I understand it is about a website which converts a long URL into a short URL for the convenience of sharing them with other people. My attempt:
