To pee or not to pee....

Today a close relative of mine had a hard time down at the hospital. She works in the laboratory and needed to tell this old Russian lady, who spoke not a word of English, that she had to to pee in a cup. Now I've been thinking about this for a while because this is really going to get weird. What do you think would be the best and simplest way for this to be said ?

"You need to pee in this cup but you must wipe yourself clean first (oh god!). You need to start your pee into the toilet and then switch into the cup."
(I guess they don't want the first part of the stream.)

So, any takers? Feel free to "add lib" and change it around. If you can come up with a simple enough way to say this so that I will be able to teach it to someone who has no knowlege of Russian, I will be most grateful. Well as grateful as DDT could get anyway.

It's a lot of information even in English, and the accurate Russian version is not going to be any shorter. Hospitals should really start coming up with some sort of figurative pics specifically for these cases. Possibly recordings. Come on, everyone has a computer now, and there is no way to use a standard set of phrases recorded in foreign languages in the lab?
I've got a TV, and I'm not afraid to use it

I may be mistaken, but shouldn't it be "вам нужно мочиться в чашку"?

    My attempt:
"Вам нужно помочиться в эту чашку, но сначала вы должны вытереться (?). Вы должны начать мочиться в унитаз, а потом продолжить в чашку"
My English isn't so good, зато с русским все в порядке ))
I'll be very thankful, if you correct my mistakes.

Pardon me if I offend anyone...hehe

Would вытереть влагалище make more sense? Or does "вытереться imply drying yourself "down there"?[/i]

Brrr... I didn't understand that it's about vagina. In such a case, of course, you're right.

    Is it still actual?

i'd suggest to print the necessary phrase on a sheet of paper and to show it to the old lady. It will be far more understandable than an attempt of your relative to speak Russian.

The most polite phrase I can think out, is:

Для анализа мочи Вам нужно взять эту баночку, пойти в туалет, сначала пописать в унитаз, вытереться и затем пописать в баночку.

Yes I think you are right Indra. I will just print out the text and she can tape it to her desk.
