Any informal word for спасибо??
Пасиба
спасибочки
сэнкс - russified "thanks"
The first two are reduced "спасибо", so they are all the same word. "спасибочки" is used mostly by girls.Quote:

If someone gives you a favour (with not much effort), you can just nod and say "ага" [a-ha] :)
There's not many options like in English language. What are variations of "thanks/thank you" in English? Unless that's a language like Japanese with strong differentiation of a speaker's status it's hard to think of informal variations.Quote:

Plus, there are formal: спасибо, благодарю
Plus, you could get less formal by not saying "thank you" and making some kind of compliment or recognizing a favor. For example, "Я как раз этого хотел" (I wanted exactly that), "Ты не представляешь как я этого хотел" (You wouldn't imagine how much I wanted that!), "О, как ты это сделал?" (Wow, how did you do that?), "Классно получилось" (It went out pretty cool), etc.
Кстати, может быть я ошибаюсь и русские филологи меня поправят, но я слышал, что русское "спасибо" идет от фразы "Спаси, Бог", "Спаси тебя, Бог"
