Alla Pugacheva - Autumn leaves
Autumn leaves rustle and rustle in the garden,
the familiar path I come close to you.
And happy only in whom heart sings
With whom beside love goes.
Let years pass, love lives on the earth.
And there, where we grew up, we now have met again.
Stronger separations warm your hands,
my true, unique friend.
In the empty garden the path is far visible,
And the pretty autumn, when in the soul is spring.
Let years fly, but the sight shines,
And leaves above us rustle.

Quote:
Shumit' is to make noise. I don't know the russian word for "rustle" but if your looking for an exact translation id say id spice it up like "Noisy autumn leaves in the garden"
Quote:
the familiar path I come close to you.
Tropa = Trail
Sled = Path
I walk along (next to) you, familiar trail.
Quote:
With whom beside love goes.
'любимый' means 'a lover' or 'sweetheart'. So its not 'love' going beside.
I'd say 'With whom a lover walks beside'
Quote:
This sentence is kinda weird... My best guess would be
'Stronger than seperations, (is) the warmth of your hand'
Quote:
My only friend.
Quote:
And autum is nice when its springtime in the soul. Or 'When it's spring at heart'
Quote:
And leaves above us rustle.
Wouldn't it sound better with an article?
'And the leaves' - ? I think so.
That's my opinion.
