Let's go into the coffee. Your Russian one is equally nonsensical. Unless you meant кафе in which case Пойдем в кафе Let's go [in]to the cafe seems ok to me.
Does this make sense?
Пойдём в кафе на кофе.
Let's go to the cafe for coffee.
It's better to say "Пойдем в кафе, попьем кофе."
However, your variant is acceptable.
Would this sound better or at least normal?

Maybe it's only me but "давайте пойдём" sounds a little unnatural. I think "пойдёмте" is way better.
