измена здесь - (conjugal) infidelity, unfaithfulness

I'm not sure whether treason here is appropriate.

And I would have used the word master instead of captor for властелин, though it's entirely my humble opinion.

Я то думал что “средь” это “among” или “amongst” а такого слова как “sullen” ваще не знал. Ужос.
А в рифму слабо перевести, чтоб было?

Thanks! I agree entirely with your points. I though властелин could mean a person who is holding someone captive, since the guy is at the mercy of his own memory... But you are right, I'll make it more like "master"

I must admit I am not trying to get the same rythm, but simply a literal translation to show people who what the poem means!
