hi,

Внизу глубоко подо мной поток, усиленный грозой, шумел.
Примерно так:
Deep underneath me was the noisy stream, strengthened with the storm.
I don't know but maybe that just doesn't translate into English.
Deep below me the stream clamored, strengthened by the storm...Quote:

OK. I thought it was "of Lermintov" or Lermintov's; indicating it was his somehow.Quote:

пото́́́́к, уси́́́́ленный грозо́́́́й,
шуме́́́́л.
-'-'---'
-'-'---'
-'
Note no stress on подо - preps. are treated as part of the following word (i.e. as if подомно́́́́й). Trying to keep the meter
And far below me,
strengthened by the storm,
the stream did roar.
I'm not so sure about "clamored". "roar" neither. Do you have another verb?
But this gives us
-'-'-
'---'
-'-'.
Needs a lot of work. Second line needs smth like "made stronger by the storm -'-'-'. Gets it closer to match the first line.
Ok, let's try to make the stress pattern work.Quote:
