Hmm! Interesting?
It’s quite difficult to describe what куча-мала is. It’s a sort of game (bad game) played by the children on the post soviet area. For instance, some children are playing a game (any game) and one of them falls; somebody else screams куча-мала and others start to fall on that poor child making some kind of heap from bodies.
I’m not sure about present, but when I was a child куча-мала was quite common.
My attempt:
three of us will make a heap on the floor
:dunno:
Ahh.. well that makes more sense! Thanks! :D
I've recently found a game for mobile phones which calls куча-мала in Russian. The english version of the game calls - pile-up

Hehe. But keep in mind that video game titles can be very liberally applied. They don't really mean much. Really, its sounds something roughly equivalent to "smear the queer" minus the ball, eh?Quote:

I don't know about you guys, but to me, from what leo-mic said, кучу-малу seems like a dog-pile.
Like when someone is on the floor...someone yells, "dog-pile on (name of person)!" and everyone runs and piles on top of that person.
Yay!Quote:

A quote from Ожегов:
Куча мала! - возглас в детской игре, по которому начинается общая свалка.
adoc thank you! :D
It's exactly what I wanted to explain, but I still have no idea how to call it in English.
:?:
It's a pile-on/dog-pile :D
Странноватое предложение.... :?Quote:
